Friends, Boat has just launched a very premium home theater. Yes, Boat Avanti Prime X. There are some very interesting things about it & that's why we thought of making a video on it. Generally, we don't make videos on home theaters. If I talk about the wireless home theater system, that too with a 7.1.4 channel home theater. In terms of budget, Boat has launched Avanti Prime X. Yes, it's a 700W 7.1.4 channel home theater system. And it has Dolby Atmos support. And I've been testing it for some time. This is going to be a quick review of Avanti Prime X. Generally, the picture quality is good on TV. But if you watch audio from a TV with 20-30W speakers, you don't get that theater-like feel.
Inside Look
For that, you need a home theater. And you get a soundbar at the start of the home theater. You don't get the front firing, the wide soundstage that you usually get. But if you have a multi-channel home theater, then you get a 360 degree theater-like sound. And that's why they're slightly expensive. I won't say slightly, there are many other brands which are very expensive. It's going to be around Rs 35-40K. And at that price, is it good? Let's find out! And at the start of this video, I told you about some interesting things. Yes, first of all, you get a wire-free experience. Think about it, you have 4-5 speakers. And if they're connected to the wires in your living room, then the decor of your living room gets ruined. But if you can remove the speakers like this, and wirelessly, where you're sitting, you can move them to the right & left. These are satellite speakers which are on the right & left.
What to Know
There are 2 drivers in each. It's 7.1V & 7.4V. But I understood 7 & 4, where did 1 come from? So 1 means these subwoofers. So 7 front firing drivers, 1 subwoofer. And these 4 upward firing drivers are also included. So this is the total setup. Now let's talk about the audio quality. Yes, that's the most important. But before I tell you, let me play it for you. What we can hear here, you won't be able to hear. But you'll understand what it is. Let me play it again. So you must have seen, left & right, especially if you have earphones, then you can hear the exact differentiation.
The Breakdown
Left to right, when someone is walking, or when a cycle or bike is moving, you can actually feel the differentiation. We get to know the differentiation in the theatre. When it's raining, when it falls from above, you can feel the sound moving. That's what this home theatre experience gives you. Now let me talk about the actual Avanti Prime X. If I talk about the sound quality, then the bass is heavy. When you're listening to foot thumping music, then the bass is too much. That's for sure. I'd say the quality is decent. You'll feel the sound coming from all 4 sides. When you're watching movies, the experience you get is next level. You'll never get that experience with TV audio. And I want to say, when we got this box & unboxed it, inside the box, you get a subwoofer, speakers, subwoofers, satellite speakers.
The Details
You get an HDMI ER cable. The main soundbar is connected with an HDMI ER cable. It's an HDMI cable, but it's of high quality. All modern TVs have an HDMI ER port. You connect it to the soundbar & you get a wireless subwoofer. Just connect the power cable & you're done! Now you'll ask, how does it get power? There are batteries inside it. You get 12 hours of battery life. And when you attach it here, it automatically charges. Yes, this is how it charges. So you can watch 2-4 movies & when you're done, you can attach it & it'll charge automatically. You can also charge it via USB Type C. Absolutely no problem! You also get remote control. You don't have to do this all the time.
Key Details
You can operate the entire thing with the remote. And when you put the satellite speakers at the back, the sound should be more or less. You can adjust the sitting position accordingly. You get these batteries inside the box. It's very easy to set up. Anyone will be able to do it. You get the documentation. So you get everything inside the box. You can just get it set up in 5 minutes time. It has a minimalistic look. Especially if you look at the subwoofer, the finish looks premium. There's a boat branding at the front. Even the material quality is quite good.
What's Inside
You get buttons at the top. You get power on, off, volume, plus, minus, front, pause. You get all these things. Even on the soundbar. If you buy a home theater, remember 1 thing, we've kept the subwoofer above to show it in the video. You can keep it on the floor. The effect of the bass is excellent. If I talk about the subwoofer, it has 8 inch speakers. And the bass is really loud. I'd definitely say it's a thumping bass. You get USB, AUX & optical ports. So those ports are also there. There's connectivity with Bluetooth 5.3.
Breaking It Down
There are presets in the remote. If you're watching a movie, listening to music, or watching news, the vocals & mids will come out more clearly. So there are presets for that too. You can choose that too from the remote. At the start of this video, I said that generally if you buy a set up of any brand, it's very expensive. You don't get it below Rs 60K. But this one's price is Rs 35-40K. So in budget, you're getting an entire home theater system. Which will give you a theater-like feeling when you're sitting in your living room & enjoying movies. So that's the feeling you're going to get. And if you're interested, you can get it on Flipkart, Amazon, Boat's website, or offline retail stores. In fact, I'd suggest you to go to offline retail stores. Check the actual sound quality.
